Disconnect it from the internet and call us. We'll check what they accessed, remove anything they left behind, and help you change the passwords that matter — especially banking and email. The sooner the better.
My files are locked with a ransom demand. Should I pay?
Not before you talk to us. Paying rarely goes well and there's often another way to recover. Stop using the machine and give us a ring.
Do I need an expensive antivirus subscription?
Usually not. Modern Windows has solid built-in protection, and good habits matter more than a pricey suite. We'll set up what's appropriate and remove the bloat that slows you down.
Can you do this without coming out?
Often yes — a lot of clean-ups can be done by secure remote session. For anything serious, or if the machine won't start, we'll come to you.
